Two-Factor Authentication Messaging Policy

Purpose

CSNP uses SMS text messages solely for two-factor authentication (2FA) to protect your account security. This policy explains how we use phone numbers for account verification.

How We Use Your Phone Number

  • We will send one-time passcodes via SMS to verify your identity when logging into your CSNP account

  • Messages are limited to security verification codes

  • Each code is temporary and will expire after a short time

Your Consent

By enabling two-factor authentication, you:

  • Voluntarily provide your phone number

  • Agree to receive security verification messages

  • Understand these messages are for account protection only

Message Examples

  • "Your CSNP login code is: 642981. This code will expire in 10 minutes."

  • "Your password reset verification code is: 317246."

Your Privacy and Control

  • Your phone number is securely stored

  • We will never share your phone number with third parties

  • You can remove or change your phone number at any time in your account settings
