Eligibility
To be eligible to start a chapter, you will need to meet the following requirements:

Be a resident of the area in which you plan to start a chapter for a minimum of one year

Commit to hold a minimum of 4 events per year

Commit to recruit additional volunteers in the proposed area

Commit to cover the cost of the Meetup platform at $200 per year (whether through personal contribution, sponsorship, etc.) - personal contributions will be reimbursed after a year assuming the chapter hosts 4 events

Commit to finding sponsors

Commit to attend chapter and national meetings

Fill out the Volunteer Request form - select only 'Local Chapter Leadership' for the role/department

Fill out the Chapter Request form

Encouraged: have proven leadership experience in a professional setting
