CSNP's Exciting Plans for 2024: New Events, Partnerships, and More!

A preview of CSNP's plans for 2024 including trivia nights, Discord launch, cybersecurity author spotlight series, webinars, and volunteer opportunities.

As we step into 2024, the Cyber Security Non Profit (CSNP) team is back from our break and buzzing with energy. We've been planning some exciting events and initiatives to make this year memorable for our members. Here's a sneak peek into what we have in store for you!

1. Beginner Cyber Security Trivia Night: A Fun Start to 2024

Our first event of the year is something special for our members who are just starting their journey in cybersecurity. Get ready for the Beginner Cyber Security Trivia Night! We've partnered with TryHackMe, who is generously sponsoring the event by providing 1-month vouchers, await the top three winners of each event. Keep an eye on our LinkedIn and Meetup pages for the trivia night announcement and registration details. It's going to be a night of learning and fun!

2. Discord - Coming Soon to Enhance Member Interaction

We've heard your feedback about the gradual decline in member participation on Slack. In response, we're excited to announce that we'll be rolling out our very own Discord server in the coming months. Discord provides a more dynamic and interactive platform for our community. Stay tuned for more details on how you can join the conversation and connect with fellow members.

3. Spotlight on Cybersecurity Authors: A New Blog Series

We're launching a blog series that puts the spotlight on the brilliant minds behind cybersecurity books. From literature for children to resources for professionals, we want to help spread the word about these authors and their impactful work.

4. Webinar Series: Meet Phillip Wylie

Our first webinar of 2024 features Phillip Wylie, host of "The Phillip Wylie Show" and "The Hacker Factory Podcast." As a keynote speaker for multiple conferences and the author of "The Pentester BluePrint: Starting a Career as an Ethical Hacker," Phillip will share valuable insights with our community. Keep an eye on our social media channels for the announcement and registration details.

5. Calling All Volunteers: Join CSNP's Journey in 2024

CSNP is on the lookout for passionate individuals to join our volunteer team in 2024. The more resources we have, the more we can do for our members. If you're interested in contributing your skills and time, please fill out the volunteer form and be a part of our exciting journey.

We're thrilled about the opportunities that 2024 holds for CSNP, and we're grateful to have you with us on this journey. Stay connected through our various channels, and let's make this year one to remember!
