Abdel Sy Fane
CHAIR
Abdel Sy Fane is a visionary cybersecurity leader with over 15 years of experience transforming digital landscapes across healthcare, finance, technology, and government sectors. As Co-Founder and Executive Director of CyberSecurity NonProfit (CSNP), Abdel is dedicated to democratizing cybersecurity knowledge and fostering a culture of inclusion in the field
With a proven track record of implementing cutting-edge security solutions for Fortune 500 companies, Abdel brings a wealth of expertise in application security, DevSecOps, and cloud security to CSNP's mission. His innovative approach has driven major cybersecurity initiatives at organizations like Grail Biotech, Booz Allen Hamilton, Meta (Facebook), Allstate Insurance and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Abdel's leadership has been instrumental in growing CSNP to over 10,000 members and securing significant funding to support the organization's initiatives. His vision for CSNP is to create a more secure and equitable digital ecosystem by making cybersecurity education and resources accessible to all.
Holding a Master's degree in Cyber Forensics & Security, Abdel is not only a practitioner but also a passionate educator. He is committed to nurturing the next generation of cybersecurity professionals and advocates for diversity and inclusion in the tech industry.
As Executive Director, Abdel leads CSNP's strategic initiatives, fostering partnerships with industry leaders, and driving innovation in cybersecurity education and community engagement. His unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and commitment to social impact positions CSNP at the forefront of nonprofit cybersecurity organizations.

Emily Stamm
VICE CHAIR
Emily Stamm is a leader in cryptography and quantum computing, bringing cutting-edge expertise to her role as Co-Founder and Board Member of CyberSecurity NonProfit (CSNP). As the Lead Cryptography Application Engineer at Niobium, Emily specializes in Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), a quantum-secure cryptographic technique enabling secure computations on encrypted data.
With a diverse background spanning quantum machine learning engineering, cryptography research, and published work in number theory, Emily embodies the interdisciplinary approach crucial to modern cybersecurity. Her experience includes significant contributions as a cryptography research engineer at Allstate, where she co-authored original research on applied identity-based encryption.
Emily's passion for education and public engagement is evident in her engaging presentations on mathematics, cryptography, and quantum computing. This aligns perfectly with CSNP's mission to democratize cybersecurity knowledge and foster inclusivity in the field.
Throughout her tenure at CSNP, Emily has demonstrated versatile leadership, serving in various crucial roles including Executive Director, Vice President of CSNP, Outreach Director, and Marketing Director. Her multifaceted contributions have been instrumental in shaping CSNP's strategic direction and expanding its impact.

Andrea Kim
BOARD MEMBER
Andrea Kim is a dedicated cybersecurity professional and passionate advocate for accessibility in the field. As a Co-Founder and Board Member of CyberSecurity NonProfit (CSNP), she brings her expertise in cybersecurity and her commitment to inclusivity to drive the organization's mission forward.
With a background in Cyber Security, Andrea specializes in Application Security, Mobile/IoT Security, and Malware Analysis. Her professional experience, coupled with multiple cybersecurity certifications including GSEC, GMON, GCIH, GWAPT, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, provides her with a comprehensive understanding of the cybersecurity landscape.
Andrea's journey with CSNP has been multifaceted, having served in various crucial roles including Outreach Director, Accessibility Director, and Chicago Outreach Vice President. Her leadership has been instrumental in shaping CSNP's initiatives to make cybersecurity education and resources more accessible to diverse communities.
As the Accessibility Director, Andrea has been at the forefront of CSNP's efforts to ensure that cybersecurity knowledge and training are available to everyone, regardless of their background or abilities. Her work embodies CSNP's commitment to fostering a more inclusive and diverse cybersecurity community.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Andrea is a dedicated animal welfare advocate, volunteering her time for pet rescue and rehabilitation. This commitment to making a positive impact, both in her professional field and personal life, exemplifies the values that drive CSNP's mission.

Paul Lanzi
BOARD ADVISOR
Paul Lanzi is a distinguished cybersecurity leader and innovator, bringing a wealth of experience to his role as Board Advisor at CyberSecurity NonProfit (CSNP). As the co-founder and COO of Remediant, now part of Netwrix, Paul has been at the forefront of developing cutting-edge privileged access management solutions.
With over two decades of experience in technology and cybersecurity, Paul has a proven track record of leading and innovating in enterprise software development. Prior to Remediant, he managed mobile and web-focused full-stack enterprise software development and UX teams at industry giants including Genentech, Roche, and Gilead Sciences. This diverse background gives him a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities in cybersecurity across various sectors.
Paul's expertise extends beyond just technical knowledge. He is a frequent speaker at major industry conferences, including Black Hat and the Gartner IAM Conference, where he has shared insights on critical topics such as Zero Standing Privilege and managing privileged access at scale. His thought leadership has been featured in numerous publications, demonstrating his commitment to advancing the field of cybersecurity.
As a Board Advisor to CSNP, Paul is passionate about addressing the diversity gap in the Information Security practitioner population and raising general awareness of privacy and information security topics. He believes that by making cybersecurity knowledge more accessible and inclusive, we can create a more secure digital world for all.
Paul holds a BS with Honors in Computer Science from UC Davis and has maintained a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute since 2005, underlining his commitment to both technical excellence and effective project management.
Through his role at CSNP, Paul continues to drive innovation, promote education, and foster diversity in the cybersecurity field, embodying the organization's mission to create a more secure and equitable digital ecosystem.

Derek Murawsky

Derek Murawsky is a visionary technologist and innovator, bringing over two decades of experience in cybersecurity and cloud engineering to his role as Distinguished Technical Advisor for Innovation & Engineering Excellence at CyberSecurity NonProfit (CSNP). As a founding team member and Director of Technology Platform at Croissant, Derek continues to push the boundaries of fintech and cybersecurity innovation.
With a career spanning roles at industry giants like PayPal and Booz Allen Hamilton, Derek has consistently demonstrated his ability to architect and implement cutting-edge solutions that drive business growth and enhance security. At PayPal, he played a pivotal role in developing infrastructure for the Paycheck Protection Program, facilitating over $2 billion in transactions and directly benefiting 70,000 small businesses. His expertise in cloud security and infrastructure design across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms positions him as a valuable asset to CSNP's mission.
Derek's passion for innovation is evident in his track record of implementing transformative technologies. From designing cloud-based HSM encryption services to developing geo-locked cloud-based batch processing systems, he has a proven ability to deliver solutions that enhance security, improve performance, and generate significant cost savings.
As a Distinguished Technical Advisor at CSNP, Derek will guide the development of our engineering departments, leveraging his experience in building high-performing teams. His insights on DevOps, contributing to the open-source community, emerging trends like AI/machine learning and blockchain will be instrumental in keeping CSNP at the forefront of cybersecurity innovation. Derek's expertise will be particularly valuable in advising on the development of key CSNP products, including our Community App, Open Grants Service, and Donors Transparency Service.

Emmanuel Onyeador
BOARD ADVISOR
Emmanuel Onyeador is a distinguished educator and innovator in computer science, bringing a wealth of experience to his role as Strategic Advisor for Cybersecurity Education and Partnerships at CSNP. As the Director and Founder of the Computer Science Academy at Oakland Tech, Emmanuel has been at the forefront of transforming computer science education and broadening participation for underserved and underrepresented groups.
With over two decades of experience in education, Emmanuel has made significant contributions to the field of computer science education. His expertise has been recognized at the highest levels, including being honored at the White House by President Obama in 2014 as one of 100 outstanding computer science educators. Emmanuel's achievements also include the 2019 ACM Senior Member award for his lifetime contributions to computer science education and the 2013 National Center for Women in Technology Educator of the Year award.
Emmanuel's work extends beyond the classroom. He has served as a consultant for prestigious organizations such as the College Board, National Math and Science Initiative, and ETS. His involvement in developing and piloting the new AP Computer Science Principles course demonstrates his commitment to advancing computer science education on a national scale.
At CSNP, Emmanuel is passionate about broadening participation in cybersecurity, particularly for students from underserved and underrepresented groups. His expertise in curriculum development, work-based learning, and project-based learning will be instrumental in creating innovative educational programs that resonate with diverse communities.
