Abdel Sy Fane
Abdel is a senior manager of security & privacy at Protiviti and has a master’s in Cyber Forensics & Security from Illinois Institute of Technology. Abdel founded the professional group Chicago CyberSecurity to meet the growing demand of security professionals with free accessible cybersecurity education.
At CSNP, he has acted as many roles including CEO, CFO, Marketing Director, Chicago Chapter President, U.S. Midwest Director, and Business Development Vice President.
Emily is a senior consultant & researcher in quantum computing at Protiviti. She has experience in cryptography and mathematics research and a degree from Vassar College. Emily co-founded CSNP because she is passionate about security awareness, accessibility, and diversity.
At CSNP, she has acted as many roles including COO, Outreach Director, Marketing Director, U.S. West Director, Chicago Outreach President.
David lives in Dallas, Texas and has over five years of experience in sales and project management. David is passionate about making cybersecurity knowledge and training accessible to all.
At CSNP, he has acted as Organizational Director.
Charles is a senior cloud security engineer at USAA. He lives in Dallas, Texas and has worked in technology, cloud security, and servant leadership for 20 years. He believes that the mission of our generation is to secure the Internet, and he lives that mission every day.
At CSNP, he has acted as many roles including U.S. South Regional Director, Dallas Chapter President, and R&D Review Board Chair.
IT Security Analyst at Gogo, and MSCSIA student at Western Governors University. Cybersecurity interests include Application Security, Mobile/IoT Security and Malware Analysis. Multi-pet owner and rescue volunteer.
At CSNP, she has acted as many roles including Outreach Director, Accessibility Director, and Chicago Outreach Vice President.
Oluseyi (Seyi) is a Senior Information Security professional at Byline Bank. Oluseyi has experience running his own non-profit THE AFRICA IMPACT NETWORK to promote technology in Africa particularly for women and children. He has worked on extensive cybersecurity projects on blue teams while working with the reputable cybersecurity organizations - Chicago Computers and the Veteran’s Administration.
Seyi joined CSNP as Continental Director of Africa.
Eric is a Senior Cloud Security Consultant at ScaleSec, who has over a decade's worth of experience in engineering, devops, and cybersecurity. He holds many professional certifications in cybersecurity and cloud computing. He is passionate about innovation and advancing the state of cybersecurity and technology worldwide.
At CSNP, he has acted as Atlanta President and R&D Director.

Sarah is a territory sales manager at Palo Alto Networks. Sarah has 10 years of experience working in the security field and the startup community. Her role focuses on growing CSNP's member base, attracting sponsorships, and developing vehicles to allow our international community to collaborate together.
Paul is the co-founder and COO of Remediant. He previously managed mobile and web-focused full-stack enterprise software development and UX teams at Genentech, Roche and Gilead Sciences. Paul earned his BS with Honors in Computer Science at UC Davis and has held a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute since 2005. Through the work of the CSNP, Paul hopes that we can both address the diversity gap in Information Security practitioner population and raise the general level of awareness on privacy and information security topics.
Jose-Miguel works at Rubica, Inc., as the VP of Business Ops & Security and oversees InfoSec, Customer Support, Business Ops, HR, and DEI. He was interested in CSNP because he enjoys teaching people how they can level up their cybersecurity knowledge and making cybersecurity champions out of non-technical people. He believes cybersecurity is something that everyone needs.
